Visual Arts

Drawing is the foundation for all other forms of artistic expression. Through this program, students will learn and develop their drawing skills by learning the elements and principles of design, which will allow them to explore their ideas with confidence.

This program teaches the fundamentals of drawing step-by-step in a wide range of media. In addition, students will be exposed to different subject matter, art vocabulary, color theory, and art history to support our well-rounded and well-knowledgeable young artists.

The progression of this course has several different levels, and students are placed accordingly following assessment. Students who complete the sequence are adequately prepared for pursuing a career in the art and design field.
